Mark Cuban calls Colin Cowherd 'an idiot when it comes to eSports'

If Mark Cuban does give in on League of Legends, or to even a larger scale (eSports), he himself could seal the future of this game and better yet blossom the gaming industry. . .

What kind of impact do you think Mark Cuban could have on League?

I think he'd be good for esports in general. The guy is a good owner and is always really involved with trying to improve things. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he pops up as a team owner soon, it wouldn't be a bad investment for him considering the growth of esports over the last few years.

I could see Cuban buying a team. It would be funny to see a Kings-owned team face a Mavericks-owned team.

Side note: Mark Cuban was being nice to Colin Cowherd. Dude's crazy. And I don't just mean in esports. I've been watching him for years and I know how crazy some of the things he says are.

He should buy or create a team. Or maybe host a tournament? He is very rich and powerful he can basically do what ever he wants with eSports.

the possibilities would open up for esports if somone big like this guy contributes to the esports scene that would open up the door for bigger people looking at esports and it would be a chain and league of legends or some sort of variant could be in the Olympics or something i mean i know it doesn't sound all that good but i for one would be excited for the world to acknowledge esports takes extreme dedication time and is more strategical then a normal sport even if u dont have psychical activities

He can bring money and organization, which is good, but even if he enters in he won't be the saviour by himself I would be actually more curious if instead of buying a team he would actually build a tournament network in collaboration with Riot

Guys like Mark Cuban entering esports is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing is guys like him can give a good platform for esports to grow both financially and getting more fans. Imagine League of Legends being advertised at Madison Square Garden. Initially people will be like "what", but once they catch on, the viewer base and player base for LoL will increase in the US. Bad thing is he is going to expect so much more from the players. In spite of him being interested in the game itself, he will be in it for the money. As of now, our players all over the world are pretty bad in front of the camera. cringeworthy bad. The level of trash talk and rivalry between the players is non-existent outside a very few incidents. While that is good in general, it is bad for a growing sport. People except drama so they can choose sides.
