It's interesting how you guys choose to say Uzi needs to be suspended without doing more research

Uzi was intentionally feeding in Korean soloq, yes, but I find it funny that no one addresses the actual quality of his games first.

While Uzi may deserve a harsher punishment, the fact is that many Korean players in soloq have been trolling Uzi this entire time. They really don't want RNG to win the world championships. Now if you had a troll every single game you played soloq in, I bet you would be extremely tilted as Uzi was.

There is reasoning behind why his punishment was more lenient than it should have been. So before you start questioning why Uzi did not get a larger punishment, do some research first.

A fairer statement to make would be "Uzi deserves a harsher punishment, but the toxicity and racism in Korean soloq against the Chinese also needs to be addressed." To say that only Uzi deserves to be punished harder is to understate the complexity of the situation.

No, Riot needs to make it known that they treat everyone equally, UZI should have received a 14day ban and Riot should have addressed that the situation and many other situation on the korean server are being handled.

saying "oh the entire korean server is toxic so lets give uzi a lesser punishment" is completely wrong. UZI was at fault here 110%, Riot needs to make it known that they dont handle this kind of crap and they should use him as an example.

but then again riot cant seem to do anything these days.

  1. Uzi is not at fault. He has fault, he is not at fault.
  2. Korea doesn't want to let China win. They will probably ban him from worlds because it's their best chance at 100% winning, just like how Korea purchased all the rights to the Asia Games finals, because they lost.

Take care of the root of your problem, not the outcome it produces.

Timmy stole some pie too is not a valid argument forJimmy to receive a lesser punishment for stealing pie. You should have learned that by age 5.

2 cents..

He should get a 14 day ban related to anything outside of participating in professional play. ie: solo que, scrims, team practice...but when it comes to playing on Riot sanctioned games at a pro level, he should be able to attend. We get Korea doesn't want to drop the ball and lose there strangle hold on World Titles, so this type of punishment seems to fit the bill. That way the punishment would be severe enough, but not over the top. Taking away a player, more so the TEAMS accomplishments over an entire year, for a few transgressions would be to harsh. That way both sides of the coin flip will feel satisfied on the outcome.

This is funny, Every Server Have racist problem and Troll problem, I watched some of the streamers (korean) when Uzi was playing with them. One of the annoying thing about Uzi was that he constantly asking for help. Ping Ping Ping all the time and things does not turn out to be in his favor he starts to troll on purpose. If he was just like normal player like us that is not a big issue, report and get suspended, but here is the fun fact. He is Pro Gamer, and streaming with lot of viewers. He is one of the best ADC and well known player around the world. And he intentionally throwing and feeding (TROLLING)
I heard in China those kind of stuff are not huge problem, but in Korean Server it is. A proffesional Chinese LOL player trolling (Constantly/ I have witnessed 8games and Im pretty sure he had done tons of trolling in Korean Server )
Is a huge Problem No Matter what happened

Wait...what did I miss? Uzi trolling what games?!

Deep Banana10/25/2018, 1:56:51 PM

Racist??? How long has this trolling of Chinese players been going on? Is it all Chinese people who play in Korea being targeted or is it at the players of the professional Chinese teams? If this was going on before the professional teams got here then i agree we can call it racist. But if its only at the team players then i dont see how its racist, unsportsmanlike for sure but not racist.
