USA vs Canada Bronze-Master Tournament! * /r/leagueoflegends
TOURNAMENT DETAILS
WHO: Any player from any league can register!
WHAT: This is a 5 match "tournament" to decide which country, USA or Canada, is the stronger country at LoL.
WHEN: December 18-20th 2015
WHERE: NA Server
WHY: To represent your country and decide which country is stronger at LoL! Also, each player on the winning team will earn a prize, which will be detailed below.
HOW TO REGISTER: Email me at [email protected] the following information:
- Your summoner name
- Your league and division that you finished Season 5 at
- Your preferred role
- Your timezone that you live in
- The country you are representing (USA or Canada)
- Your availability during the 18th, 19th, and 20th (what times, etc)
- Are you willing to be on standby to replace any player that is a no-show during the tournament (if you aren't selected to start)? What position would you like to fill just in case?
After the registration closes, I will email a Google doc with all the info provided to make sure you're on it and everything is correct. I will then narrow the pools of players down based on their availability and then randomly choose each player based on their league, division, and role.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
There will be a total of 5 teams with 5 players each with a few standbys for either side just in case of a no-show. Of the 5 teams, the country that wins 3 or more games will be declared the winner! The teams will be:
- Bronze/Silver Team
- Gold Team
- Platinum Team
- Diamond Team
- Master/Challenger Team
Disclaimer: I may have to reorganize which teams have what players based on registration and necessity (such as dropping Master/Challenger if too few players are available and adding a solo Bronze team).
PRIZES:
Each player on the winning team will receive $10 worth of RP unless they are randomly chosen to win from a larger prize pool (to include gaming mice, keyboards, mousepads, etc). The specifics of these items will be sent in an email after I poll all participants on what they would like to receive before the tournament is held.

CASTING AND COACHING OPPORTUNITIES:
CASTING: These games will be casted and broadcast on Twitch. If you are interested in casting, send me an email and a link to a video of you casting a LoL match. Compensation will be provided and discussed in the email traffic.
COACHING: If you are a Diamond or higher player and would like to coach one or more your country's teams send me an email inquiring about the coaching position and what league you'd like to coach.
