Edward Gaming's jungler Ming "Clearlove" Kai is feeling confident that his team will emerge victorious against Korea's SKTelecom T1 in today's Mid-Season Invitational Final.
After playing many scrims against SKT, he thinks the Korean team's weakness may lie in opposing jungler Sungwoong "bengi" Bae. Clearlove feels that if bengi doesn't end up on a strong jungle champion, like Rek'Sai, it will put SKT at an early game disadvantage, which is exactly what EDG wants.
"I think bengi showed many problems during the tournament," he told Lolesports. "And I think the key to winning the game will be our top laner and mid laner. I'm also confident that I'm a better jungler than bengi."
He was also critical of Fnatic's performance against SKT. In several games, Clearlove explains how SKT was far behind Fnatic during the early game, but
the pride of EU didn't push their advantage far enough. "I think if we can force SKT to make more mistakes during the early game, and then we snowball, we can win the game."

EDG also has specific strategies prepared for both of SKT's exceptional mid laners, Sanghyuk "Faker" Lee and Jihoon "Easyhoon" Lee. "If it is Faker vs. Pawn, the jungler on both sides will pay more attention to the mid laner. If any side gets an advantage during the game, the mid laner and jungler can make the team win the game easily."
"But if it's Easyhoon vs. Pawn, Easyhoon has stable farm ability. So we won't pay attention to the mid laner, and we may put more attention on our top laner or our bottom laner," he says.
No matter who SKT puts up against China's EDG, Clearlove doesn't seem worried. "I think I can play well against SKT because I'm very confident right now," he says.
