So when does Riot plan on addressing the problems with each years tournaments?

Nobody currently playing League has a chance unless they get sponsored. Shouldn't it be the best vs the best? I don't even bother watching the tournaments anymore. It's not the best. I honestly couldn't care less. You'd think the top 10 in challenger would get at least get an invite, but that's not the case, so what's there to strive for? Why bother trying to rank up if you won't even have a chance at an invite to worlds?
