TSM Support Tryouts
Wow, I never expected this to happen. Especially since they are looking like a pretty good team now.

Really? You didn't see this coming after how mediocre TSM's bot lane has been all season. All the talk towards the end of the season about their upward trend was about Sven, Hauntzer, and Bjerg. Dlift and YS just basically did what they had to, but nothing exceptional.
I mean YS has clearly not meshed well with this team, and what ever made him so good on FNC obviously isn't transitioning to TSM. I've also heard that Yellowstar himself has said he want to go home. If his head isn't in it than its probably best for the team anyway.

To be fair, it's kinda understandable. The team clearly didn't want to embrace his shotcalling despite the fact that it clearly worked for fnatic. While it's entirely doubtful, I would love to see what yellow can do on a team like Roccat who many thought needed a powerful shotcaller to help them manage their ugly mid/lategame. If he can bring a rotting garbagefire of TSM to the NA finals, he could sure as hell make roccat a contender in EU if not in the top 5.
Ooh, and unless TSM goes korean then I entirely expect them to add either Remi and/or Painless (one of the TLA supports) onto their roster. Both have tons of playmaking ability, both have challenger-level experience, and I'd just like to see what both of them can do on a roster like this.
Definitely makes for an interesting scenario now with doubelift, with him now being with his third new support in three splits. If this next pairing doesn't work out, there could be a legitimate case for him being the most broken ADC in the competitive scene. Ooh, and Klaj being sent down to Fnatic's challenger team opens up a pretty weird possibility of having yellow return, albeit it would not be the best fit (him going to Roccat would do way more for them than it would for Fnatic) and would not exactly return them to the "top of the mountain" (as Huni/Reignover showed that they at least had a big part in getting that 18-0 regular season).
Shotcalling doesn't work the way people seem to think it works. All 5 players call shots. What makes the "shotcaller" stand out is his calls are supposed to override the others' calls. Using C9 as an example, if Balls calls for his team to engage, and Hai's call is to disengage, then his call should be the one they listen to. It requires the team to trust that the labeled shotcaller is alert and aware of things that other people aren't seeing.
What that means is, the shotcaller isn't actually calling every shot, but when he does call a shot the needs to listen. A lot of people look at TSM this year and say "They're not listening to Yellowstar." That might be partially true, but it also looks to me like the other 4 people aren't coordinating as much as they should. One guy can't run every single play - it has to be a group effort.
