After Getting Educated and Reading the Facts...
IMT does NOT need to be in the NALCS next year. They are broke, irresponsible, and an overall financial detriment to the league. I hope those players stay, but the brand needs to go.

Didn't they treat their players very well?
I mean it is risky working for a company without cash, but you have to spend money to make money.
Unless you are C9, TSM, or CLG, doubt you make much from the game itself. I think RIOT knew that IMT wasn’t going to have the income to cover their expenses, so they knicked them.
It’s okay to spend money to make it, but IMT was spending 10$ when they were only making 5$... and that’s not good.

It's this part that so many fanboys/fangirls don't understand (mostly because they're either 12, ignorant to the world of finance, or both). There are several reasons that people have to be upset with Riot, such as the lack of communication regarding these types of decision or their refusal to improve the MMR System in Ranked queues but this decision isn't one that they should be getting criticism for.
Riot is a business that exists to make money and can't take the risk of partnering with a team like Immortals - a team that's been operating at a loss ever since they entered the NA LCS back in 2015. They should really highlight that in the statement they make in November if they want to silence the haters and the uninformed.
Let's just point out that Riot claiming to have concerns about Immortals finances is not really a valid enough statement to justify their decision, at least in the perspective of integrity.
Remember, they outright stole Renegades' and TDK's LCS spots on pure allegations only and presented zero evidence to the teams as to why they were losing their spot. Riot also failed to monetize the LCS for a better part of 5 years even though posting better viewing numbers than the MLB World Series or NBA Finals were averaging. Riot is more provably inept and are known for being petty in their decision making, just scan through Trynd's twitter to see that.
I would not doubt that Immortals is in a high risk scenario right now given all of their different investments, but the belief that they're "foolish" or otherwise is unfounded. The most glaring thing that sticks out is the fact that Immortals is putting a serious and innovative effort into OWL, which after all is a major competitor with League right now. That is the only rational and consistent conclusion to be had about why they are being rejected. If finances were a major concern then why is TL in, someone who has had the most readily observable financial issues, been accepted?
