I've noticed that threads about this are being locked. Try not to make your agenda too obvious mods.

Yeah I'll be honest. If Riot adopts SJW values I will NEVER give them Money again under any circumstances.

I hope they read this comment. And realize what a mistake they are going to make.

As far as I know, the reason why subjects like that are not permitted on the Boards is because historically they cause a lot of heated arguments that escalate to offensive remarks and other kinds of chaos.

People are really passionate about these subjects and it more often than not devolves into a nasty mud-slinging contest between two or three people that completely derails the thread.

After digging for a bit, I found this https://www.riotgames.com/en/work-with-us/diversity-and-inclusion

I don't see anywhere where it will relate on champions design or game design, it only talks about the working environnement. So far, the only LGBT thing we got was Varus which I find really subtle and well done (he's not a flamboyant gay guy, I mean ok he's not really clothed either, but you know, the lore behind it)

People are over-exagerating things, it looks like they'll only enforce "SJWs" values to the working place, and it won't affect players at all (and I hope, as a LGBT person myself, I really don't want to have cliché characters like overly feminine guys, or butcher women, as I said Varus is the way to follow if they want to have "more diversity")

Would you mind explaining what this "SJW brainwshing agenda" includes in your opinion and how it manifests? I don't even know what you are talking about.

you know it, because sjws have nothing better to do but play with forums. thats how they do it. they get into place of power within the media and forums and push the agendas. fucking cowards.

They locked it because the discussion was getting too political.

Nothing to do with bias. Nothing to do with a secret agenda or whatever other conspiracy theory you've come up with. The comments were consistently violating the rules so the thread was locked.

Do you people even READ the Universal Rules for the Boards? Politics is literally sitting under "Inappropriate Discussions," and has been for as long as I can remember. They blocked discussion pertaining to the President, whether it was good or bad, they blocked discussion pertaining to this topic, and they blocked discussion pertaining to the icon released for the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia.

Don't victimize yourself when there's nothing happening lol. This isn't an "SJW" thing, nor is this a partisan thing. It's just a rule. If you wanna discuss politics, go do it on Reddit or something.

well it's against the rules. then again i don't see the opposite threads being locked. the ones asking for a champ to be gay just to be gay. So either we get rid of both sides of this bullshit or we allow both.

Lets break this down correctly.

Riot has an in-group culture that made certain people feel as thought they did not need to act with professionalism.

Riot takes steps they believe will help remedy this culture.

The good: They mention meritocracy as a driving factor. The in-group culture may have been interfering with merit based decisions.

The bad: Hiring consultants on diversity. This may not be as bad as it seems. If they were hiring 'implicit bias' consultants it would be a large red flag.

I didn't see anything in the release that mentioned the companies they were looking to hire. I only looked at it once, so if anyone saw otherwise let me know.
