i know everyones having issues, but where is riot.

Im extremely frustrated with the inner workings of the riot teams. for one there was not a change to the server status 3 hours into the community dealing with the reconnection problems. now we are going into hour 4-5 and there isnt a word on a single board from anyone at riot about the issue. This is absolutely irresponsible to let a problem that so many people are suffering from to go unaddressed. This is a company with more then enough staff and money from out of our pockets to handle the situation, or at the very minimal change the server status. How can you try and fish money out of or pockets and cant even give let us know something isnt working on YOUR end. Thank you again for making half of us assume it was our connection or computer and wasting 3 hours + of our time, i may be speaking for myself, but this is utterly unacceptable and we deserve compensation.

Compensation for what...a free-to-play game? This is an incredibly entitled thing for you to say. Nobody is "suffering" here except the Riot employees who are dealing with the problem. I work in systems administration, and the number one rule is you don't tell your users anything that can end up being false. They aren't going to give us time estimates or exact details on what's going wrong because all that does is aggravate people more.

How can you try and fish money out of or pockets and cant even give let us know something isnt working on YOUR end.

I'm honestly shocked at how poorly this has been handled. How hard is it to just make a statement and update the server status, and to boot it's the responsible thing to do... Everyone would have a lot more respect for riot that way. I like to give them the benefit if the doubt but geez.
