Hey there, Fegone.
I took a look at the removal in question.
In general, calling someone naive isn't great, but it's not something that's usually a super big deal. What made it a big deal in this situation is that it was part of a pattern of five comments you made directed at belittling the opinion of the individual in question, which isn't okay, moderator or not. By itself that comment might not have been removed but, when combined with the following (additional comments of yours removed from the same thread), it shows a clear intent with your behavior to antagonize this individual. For that reason it was included in the removal.
Ok just stop. Every single one of your comments got downvoted into oblivion. They don't even show up by default any more. Just stop it Riot Fanboi.... we get it.
Just drop this subject, you obviously are not qualified to 'moderate' threads about this particular skin, as your Riot Fanboi-ism stands in the way of producing objective comments.
BWahahahaha god you're so naive. As if you knew what does and doesn't work in gameplay. Please tell me more about your experience as a game designer, developer, or whatever else you think you know so much about. Come on man, the downvotes are speaking for itself.
Cos he is a freaking Riot Fanboi. The like of "Make League Great Again" - if you know what I mean.
To address the issue of mod favoritism -- we don't exempt moderators from the rules, and we review things brought to our attention to ensure that this happens. For openness, here's the moderator's comment:
Because fan-edits where they just draw on top of a skin never have to account for gameplay clarity, visuals from game height, how the skin looks in motion, or any things that actually matter in a skin.
Taking some fancy edits somebody adds to a still screenshot and saying "Oh wow, this just fixes everything. Why didn't you do this riot?" is naive.
While I agree that perhaps wording could be improved, the comment does give a good account of the multiple reasons that you can't simply push a concept into production. This is one of those cases where, while it isn't great to call someone naive, it's largely non-insulting (it's a "you probably failed to take this stuff into consideration" rather than "you don't know what you're talking about"), and not a huge deal.
