Sion Rework Idea!
Hello all!
I want to share my fresh take on Sion. I notice how Riot designs their champions: how the abilities synergize with each other and how they interact with other champions' abilities. Also like how they keep things simple but powerful with tradeoffs. But like everyone else I am tired of similar/copy paste'esque abilities.
I want something new brought to the champion pool with the rework.
I've read through some threads and do like the idea of a "slow, creeping death" or "walking tank" or "long lost war veteran, reanimated".
Here's my idea for his kit:
Passive - Traces (Global): Wounded enemies below 80% health leave delayed footprints on the ground that slowly fade away after 10 seconds. Sion's movement speed towards wounded enemies increased by 10%.
**Q - Brute Force ** Sion strikes an enemy with brutal force. The target is dealt x damage and is stunned for a brief 0.5 second duration. Hits also grant 2% lifesteal up to 6 times. Stacks last 6 seconds after not attacking.
For this ability cooldown should be relatively low but again it should be adjusted based on the damage because of the stun component. Sion should let out an ARGGHHH or some zombie like moan for this ability
**W - War Cry ** Sion lets out a tormented cry that echoes across the battlefield. The hands of his dead friends from long past reach out of the ground at random locations in an expanding radius from his location up to a 300 radius. Enemies are hit are slowed by 40% and are inflicted grievous wounds.
For this ability it will be cool to see the hands of his dead veteran friends rise out of the ground and grab people. Again it gives him a more scary personality while giving a glimpse into his dark past. This also gives his kit some CC and works well with his ult and passive.
**E - Foul Flesh ** PASSIVE: ALL units friend or foe in a 250 radius are leeched of their health (% of Sion's max health) to Sion up to cap. Once the units are out of this radius, their health is returned. ACTIVE: Sion ejects a foul gas cloud. Enemies in a 250 radius have their mana drained by x per second (or) Enemies are silenced for 2 seconds in a radius. Also enemies who strike Sion have their damage and attack speed reduced by x %.
Sion is a big, reanimated, smelly brute. His foul stench is so strong it pierces enemies and makes attacking him a pain.
**R - Gravesent (or) Share the Curse! ** Sion throws his massive axe in a straight line. If the axe hits an enemy it deals true damage and lodges itself. The target is drained of health based on how much health the target has and is distributed to Sion and his allies if they are in a 300 radius of the lodged axe. The farther the wounded target travels the more it's movement speed is reduced. If the axe doesn't hit a target it lands on the ground and deals the true damage in an AOE.
I want his ultimate to synergize with his abilities. I really thought about this ability to come up with this and I feel like this one really reinforce the concept of slow death. He strikes slow and moves slow.... but he will eventually get you... and put you where you belong. In the grave... with him. It should have some cool particle greenish particle effect like that of fiddle but more shaky and stream like.

second foul flesh is too op
taking away mana they would never do that for a champion because then that makes that champ too broken i like the idea though of foul flesh just change up the active a bit and make it not so op. that is just my opinion
