I think we need a heart to heart talk about Zed.

What stopped most professionals from playing Zed was the rework to his ult, not the nerfs to the missile speed of his W and the E cooldown nerf. Especially with the W nerf included in the patch with his reworked ult, you guys may have pushed a little too far too quick with these changes.

With this in mind, would it really be pushing Zed overboard if we were to just bring his W's shadow speed back to what it was, and shave off a second of his E cooldown?

Considering the fact that most pros didn't have the time nor the desire to re-learn the intricacies of Zed's reworked ult and how it affects his kit, I would like to respectfully tell you that the nerf to W's shadow speed may have been a little too much too early.

I believe there are 6 different tiers of Champion strength: Trash, Bad, Okay, Balanced, Strong, Overpowered.

Right now, Zed is just "Okay". Okay is not Balanced. However, he is close to it. That's why I am suggesting these minor changes. Shadow missile speed returning to 2500, and Shadow Slash being 3 seconds instead of 4. Keep the ult in its reworked state - as that is what made pro players stop playing him, and I don't think these minor buffs will push him far.

I dont know, ad assasins have no luck in mid in general when it comes to pro play. Pros have shifted to Aoe mages.

By buffing Zed now you would be risking him topping his entire class once the mid lane meta shifts once again

item 3157 has always been a strong counter to Zed.

summoner 3 also received changes making AD assassins in general weaker.

Personally, I feel part of the slowdowns was to include greater counter play. It can be very difficult to fight Zed from a losing position, and the ability to dodge and perceive attack patterns is crucial to surviving. While I feel you may bee right, that there were to many nerfs, too close together, that doesn't warrant a buff, if we assume the changes were needed.
