Twitch VU has more lines than Spirit Guard Udyr!

When Spirit Guard Udyr was released on the PBE, I played game after game of him, marveling at the smoothness of his model and animations, and the scope and interactivity of his voiceover. I bought Spirit Guard Udyr when it was released, and have found him a joy to play. Spirit Guard Udyr was several steps above anything else in the game at the time, and since his release, the quality of the audio and visuals of new champions has skyrocketed.

Between new champions and visual upgrades of old ones, there's continued progress. Vel'koz was weak in voice-over — compared to the releases surrounding him — but was very impressive from an animation perspective. The Heimerdinger update took a challenging champion with many models and textures and a somewhat obnoxious voiceover and returned a charming, goofy champion that both distilled and expanded what was good about old Heimer. And now Braum and Twitch are out, both doing things with their voiceovers that haven't been done on anyone else. Both have tremendously expansive voiceovers as well. SGU had an unprecedented 97 lines after the later addition of champion interactions. Twitch has 100.

It's not just quantity. I've dabbled a little in DotA 2, and though even Twitch doesn't match the sheer number of lines you'd see on a Hero, his do a much better job at conveying a personality, a character. Braum likewise. If you guys can keep up this quality, I'd be happy. If you can keep up this improvement, I'd be flabbergasted. As it stands, I'm definitely looking forward to the Karthus rework; I've always liked him. I'm looking forward to the next ultimate skin as well. If it's as far above the current level of quality as SGU was above the standard at the time of its release, that would be pretty spectacular. And hey, it only took a year for the baseline of quality to reach what was previously ultimate skin quality...

Came into this expecting a QQ thread about how it's not fair that a normal champ has more lines than a legendary skin, and was pleasantly surprised :D
