/remake got be banned

So the game lagged as soon as the loading screen started which meant i had to quit the game and log back on with vpn turned on, i entered the game 1 minute after it had started ( so minons werent even in lane yet) i turned my vpn off so that it wouldnt interfere with my game which made me innactive for 20 seconds or so which allowed me to arrive in lane when the first minions hit.

For some reason i see that we have the chance for a remake and as i didnt get my main im all for it so we remake and then i recieve a message saying i've been put on lower priorty of whatever bullshit giving me an afk ban.

Why is this a thing? in no way did i interfere with anyones game, i was in lane just as everyone else was (except our support actually who was still afk in base) yet i still get an afk ban im guessing for having quit the game earlier before the game even started, even so why is this a fucking thing, it shouldnt. Has this happened to anyone else? Does everyone agree that this shouldnt happen? That its an irrelevant ban? Or is it a bug?
