Unable to ban

Hello, I was just in champ select of a ranked game. I was last pick, top lane. When it came my turn to ban I searched for cho'gath, and was unable to select the champion to ban. I erased the search and tried clicking on any champion and it never let me select one. I was forced to dodge as time ran out and I was unable to ban. I'm not worried about the 4LP loss or the 5 minute time out, just letting y'all know this happened. hopefully it wont happen again, that would suck!

Next game, champ select went fine. Wasnt able to load into even the loading screen though. screen would go black, and the league of legends logo would be in the middle before a pop up saying i couldnt connect?? I tried exiting and reconnecting multiple times to no avail.

I will undoubtedly get reported for leaving the game. It doesn seem fair that I lose more LP and potentially risk a suspension for the client not working? Other than league, my internet is working fine.
