Chat Bug: Text disappears and becomes italicized after muting

This only occurs when I mute a specific player: "I love tribunal." I'm assuming the use of tribunal in his name is causing some back-end issue that results in chat acting weird. Potentially related to chat restrictions? I'm not sure.

When I mute him, all previous chat disappears and the remaining chat becomes italicized. If I unmute, the chat does not change. It only lasts for the game in which he is muted.
