"Game in progress" when in champion select [CLIENT]

I was 1 win into my gold 2 promos and needed 1 more win. I accept into champion select. I can hear the sound effects as I enter into the lobby. I can hear the bans etc. However I can't see the lobby. I thought about reopening the client but that would mean I have to close the current window. Because I'm in a series it would count as a loss. I'm unable to see or click or chat or do anything in the lobby. As you can see in the screenshot, the client says I'm in a game (obviously not since I just finished one) and I'm helpless to interact at all. The champion select finally gets to me and I can't do anything. In my desperation I tried reopening the client since I had no other options. It counted as a loss and now I'm really mad. Not only did I just have an afk resulting in a loss in my 2nd promo, but a client glitch steals my last promo game from me. Now I have to win another 3 games to get into promos and win them. Can Riot please fix this? This is the first time I've seen this and I feel like I've been robbed. The screenshot is proof.
