DC and then ms sits at 500

This is a thread that happened a while back and is happening to box me and my friend. WE dc at the same time and reconnect at the same time. we live 6 hours apart and have different internet providers.

" Many players are facing issues where after periods of normal well flowing game play, a disconnect will occur. When this happens, the players ping can shoot to anywhere from 700-3000 ms and then it come back down almost immediately, but freezes at 500 ping and displays "Attempting to Reconnect".

This issue has a rough work-around. If you leave the game and reconnect, the issue is resolved. At least temporarily. Your connection is fine and the game seems to be working perfectly until it happens again. It is hard to determine what the root cause of the issue is, but one can hypothesize that it might possibly have to due with connecting to particular other players. I propose this because I will have streaks of perfectly smooth games of this fantastic game, but if I get in a game where this bug begins, it will happen consistently every few minutes.

I played a game where I disconnected 7 times until my team surrendered recently, but then the very next game was perfectly fine.

I wasn't going to submit this report originally because I thought it was me, but I have spoken to and seen on the forum archives of thousands of players having the same issue. One thread had over 7 thousand followers experiencing the same issue.

We understand that there is probably a lot going on behind the scenes that normal players couldn't even follow, but we hope you will investigate this issue for us because we love your game.

exact same problem on my end it just started today after the mini patch with the V ping hot fix and the release of the new zyra skin and chroma packs. Restarted computer, restarted router, checked connection, tried both new client and old and same issue every single game since the hot fix.

Hey there,

I'm in Toronto, and I'm having this issue. It's costing me ranked games. It started when I went through champ select one game and got a server error message. The game still connected; but I started having random lag spikes to 300-500 ms, and a dc of 15-25 seconds. I restarted my PC as well as League and the problem persists. Apparently this is an issue that's been happening for years without any kind of response from Riot. Hoping bringing this back to the boards will get us some kind of response.

Is it possible to solve this problem maybe this is happening cuz of the firewall or something? please help canyt play canked or lol anymore every few matches this problem happens .
