Katarina Bug

aight i posted about this awhile ago (2 months) ago but its been happening more frequently to me and after having it happen a few times i think i might have figured out whats going on.... aight so this first happened around 2 months ago (i think that would make it 3-4 patches ago) i was playing katarina mid vs talon i was snowballing pretty hard but after my 6th kill (i was 6-0) i noticed that my Q R and recall just stopped working it literaly happened after I ultid talon i posted about this but 2 months went by and ive had this glitch happen to me a few times usually executing myself (making myself respawn) fixes this glitch well its happened to me on and off and after having it happen to me today i think i might have figured out whats going on. ok so today when it happened i was playing katarina vs zilean mid the lane was pretty even i wasnt extremely fed or anything in fact i barely broke even that game (i was having a bad game) but fortunately my team snowballed well the enemy rengar attempted to jump on me but he was half health i was full health (i think he was expecting a zilean ult or something idk their was some huge miscommunication on that gank cuz at that time zilean decided to go ward) so i jumped on him and killed him... now i play katarina a lot im pretty knowledgeable about katarina damage when u play a champion alot you get a feel for their damage potential... and i dont think i needed ult to kill him but for some reason my ult casted anyways (when i play kat i spam my combo so fast and i sometimes instinctually press R in my rotation even when i dont need to) what im guessing is happening is... katarina ult has a cool mechanic where it cant cast unless their is a viable target nearby (you can use this to find stealthed teemos) what im guessing is happening is kats ult is casting even though the target that the game registers as "viable" is already dead this may be causing some sort of glitch in her programing in which can only be fixed by dying..... ive seen a video of it from a twitch stream and after watching hte video a few times it looks like kats ult doesnt actually do damage to the renekton even though it still casts... i might be wrong but im pretty sure this bug has to do with her ult and the mechanic where she cant ult unless hteirs viable targets nearby seems to be a likely starting place for riot to investigate.... plz riot respond to this or let me know if you have seen this because this glitch has gone through several patches and id love for it to be fixed...

This is the longest standing bug I have ever known about in league history and I have been complaining about it for about 6 months and it has existed over a year.

This affects MANY champs (Xerath Varus Sion Katarina to name a few

anyone with a channeled ability like lotus for Kat or piercing arrow for Varus etc. Sometimes when you get CC'd and die during the channel (it's hard to pin down exactly the trigger effect.) but it is definitely related to channeled abilities. Your Q and R get bugged and you can no longer cast them. Dying again does not reset this the only fix I know of is to relog which can cost you the game.

If you search for Q and R bugged you will find posts on this for every champion with channeled abilities going back month and months and months. I have posted again and again trying to bring attention to this but the individual posts never seem to get enough upvote momentum to get really looked at. I don't know how to make a bigger deal out of this. RIOT FIGURE THIS OUT!

I am just going to keep posting this in every thread I see mentioning the same bug till someone sees lol seems like the up voting doesn't really work as this has been a VERY discussed topic just over a LONG time so they never quite make it to the top of the list.

It is sad how long this bug has existed and yet riot has not even mentioned that it exists.

i always get it when i play slay belle katarina .most of the time its because of overkill, i was roaming and saw a very low health fiddle, i could kill him with q and e but i used my full combo just to be safe, i q then e'd and r'd but my q and e was enough to kill and ult hit nothing. thats when my q,r and back stopped working. (no advertisement or anything) i use mklol to change my skin (idk if its legal or not, hopefully i dont get banned (i always wanted to start a new account but never had the motivation :P)) and if i change it it never stops working. so try it.
