I logged in and went to see who was online and quickly realized I had no box at the bottom right, I relogged thinking maybe it was a one time bug, but upon relogging it is still missing, will keep this posted if it returns, I am starting a game so we'll see what happens.

Edit: after a game, no fix, will attempt repair function in patcher.

Edit: repair Function fixed it, but I can't help but feel like there was an easier way to do this. and I think it may happen again.

That probably means you couldn't connect to the chat server. If you can't use chat in your game, that is why. I've had this before but idk what caused it, and relogging eventually fixed it (sometimes took several tries).

Try using the repair option in the launcher.
