Mordekaiser cant target an ally with his W(Harvester of Sorrow)

I was playing in an aram where whenever I was trying to target an ally with my W it would simply take the closest ally to me. this bug has happened to me all game and I haven't seem to be able to find a solution or a cause for the issue. You can see it more clearly at the end of the video i just linked.

Can confirm. Had this happen a couple of times now. As soon as I cast W, it would go to a random target, rather than the player I had targeted to try and help out of danger.
