[GAMEPLAY] Jax E interactions with Yasuo Q
I found a whole bunch of bugs and inconsistencies with Yasuo Q and Jax E. In order to replicate these bugs, you can follow these steps :
- Go into game and make sure you have no runes which affect your defense or damage directly on both champions.
- Test damage and item interactions of the various stages of Yasuo Q on Jax both with and without Jax E.
I recorded a quick video of this with a friend, here. It's a bit lengthy, but I wanted to make sure I explained it properly and clearly with demonstrations, and I just used my stream layout because I was too lazy to make a new one. Also, I apologize for the audio desync, I have no idea why/how it happened and haven't found a fix, otherwise I would post a new one. Lastly, I did test it twice, today to do that recording, and yesterday live on stream.
Here is a full list of the effects :
First Phase Yasuo Q :
- Damage is reduced appropriately by Tabi.
- Subsequently, is not appropriately blocked by Jax E.
- Getting hit by Yasuo Q with E active REMOVES the Ninja Tabi damage reduction.
- Does increase E damage by counting as dodged.
Second Phase Q :
- Ignores Ninja Tabi 10% damage reduction.
- Does not get blocked by Jax E.
- Has no special interaction with Tabi and Jax E.
- Does increase Jax E damage, counting as a dodged hit.
Third Phase Q (Tornado) :
- Ignores Ninja Tabi 10% damage reduction.
- Therefore, inconsistently, does get blocked by Jax E.
- Counts as dodged, therefore damage on E is increased, despite ignoring Tabi reduction.
The only thing I have an explanation for is that Jax's E state takes priority over his items, causing scenario 3 of the first phase to happen. However, this also raises the question, are there other item inconsistencies caused by this?
Thanks for your time!
Edit : I forgot to mention, while I do not have video proof of the effect, my friend (the Yasuo) beforehand did tell me that all he saw was "Dodged!" but no damage number, but he could clearly see my health bar taking damage. This is an additional layer of inconsistency, as even both sides see different information displayed.
