Pure Assumption (Firewall Block) Mac Book Air User

Just finished whole download and update on my Mac Book Air. Im fully updated. Download went perfectly as far as i could tell. I play on PC when I'm home but I'm away on business for 2 weeks and all i have is my mac. Hopefully the "black" screen of death and firewall prompt can be rectified. I can get past character select. Load Screen is black with movable cursor. Roughly 25 seconds into the "black screen of death" a prompt window appears stating that I cannot connect to server, firewall may be on. Please review firewall documentation. My firewall is completely off. Hopefully a fixable issue?
