Azir solider dont bonus rift herald?

is it a bug or was it meant to be like this, soldiers don't proc the bonus damage from behind? it does work when himself basic attacks without solders but does not work with soldiers just wanted to know if it was a bug or not.

Well His soldiers don't count as basic attacks since they are abilitys that use basics attacks to hit. Hope this helped Azir
