no doom bots for me. None of the keybindings work

None of the keybindings work. QWER DF B P O S ... they're all broken. none of them work not even 1234567 keys work. Sometimes Alt and certain keys will work, but mostly it doesn't work. Cant use any skill shots, and most other things without the mouse. The mouse is the only thing that works, now.

I've been having problems with the keyboard/league interactions for about a month and half, now. i've reported the bugs, but league support has been silent on the matter. i would post screen shots but, frankly, that's not really going to show anything, as the glitch has to do with the interaction between the client and my keyboard.

Basically, i cant play league anymore. i"ve been trying to play around it, and sometimes it would just go away if i restarted. but it's been happening more and more, and now restarting 5, 7, 10, 15 times does nothing to fix it. Farewell league, it was fun while it lasted. Guess i will try again when the alpha is available. It might be caused by a bug related to ** LOGITECH** equipment, since i use a logitech keyboard, mouse, speakers. But i don't have any other keyboard, and i don't intend to buy one, so i cant test the theory.

To recreate this bug:

  1. turn on league client
  2. start any game
  3. try to use keys
  4. none of the letters or numbered keys work ~~sometimes restarting the client has fixed it but now ~~
  5. restarting a million times still doesn't fix it
  6. play the rest of the game with mouse alone, and lose horribly

I'll ask the obvious question, you checked your key bindings right?

UPDATE: i didn't have to restart any games today, but i did have a few issues that were resolved by tabbing out of the game and back in... and then the client crashed when i tried to START a game: i was in champ select, and right when it got to me, the client just crashed. Everything worked after i started it up again. i guess that's technically a restart.

This is how things have been going for the last month, so not much difference, just different from yesterday when i couldn't do anything.

Still no word back from riot.

UPDATE: riot support has responded, and advised me to remove the related files, which i have done, resetting it to the default. i will play for a couple days and get back to you/riot and let everyone know the results.

UPDATE: problem still not fixed, and i am going through troubleshooting and more suggested steps as per riot support suggestions.

UPDATE: they say its my keyboard, but after using my account to re-create the issue,** Prynce (Riot Games Player Support)** still has the account email changed to HIS e-mail, and the password changed as well.... [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Give me back my account Prynce (Riot Games Player Support).

I dont understand why there was a need to change the e-mail in the 1st place. The password MAYBE i could understand, but why change the e-mail?

UPDATE: ok so riot support said this problem was resolved, because they thought it was something, but it wasnt that, which i told them.... BUT NOW, i have figured out the problem.

After months of me dealing with this random issue, i have noticed the cause BY CHANCE. i have windows 10, and it's pretty and shiny, and its a LOT better than windows 8, but still has it's pitfalls. Least of which is the fact that STICKY KEYS turns itself back on after every update.

i press the Shift key, and then change my mind about making 8 into * but it still turns into * because of sticky keys. i hate sticky keys. i wasnt typing often enough last year to notice the issue of sticky keys, and they seem completely unrelated, so i never made the connection until now.

i turned off sticky keys around January, when the latest semester of college began, and last month though this month, i noticed that there was no longer a problem with Key Bindings, or any of this mess. it was a huge relief. And then windows 10 updated, and i had to restart my pc. After restarting, the sticky keys turned itself on again, and the in-game issue of keybindings came back. Again, it took me a few days of this to even think of this being related. But, sure enough, after turning off the sticky keys.... everything works normal. Problem solved. ... at least until the next win 10 update.

TL;DR: sticky keys fucks with the client. it wasnt my keyboard OR riot's client. it was windows fuckin 10 updates.
