Ok so I joined a normal, blind pick lobby and we picked our champs and we all locked in and whatnot then it said "Prepare Yourselves. The battle is about to begin..." It stayed like it for the past 10- 15 minutes and is still going. Its not my client or some connection problem considering me but an issue for all my teammates and probably the whole lobby itself. We can still chat. I dont want to leave the lobby in fear of getting leaverbusted.

They disabled all queues right now, so it's best to just leave it. Something bad must be going on.
I'm there too. I've got myself a bowl of cereal and a good book for the interim. Nothing like discovering you suddenly have time to do something you didn't expect to do!
I know the servers are dead and I would be better off leaving, but this is actually a little relaxing.

Worse thing is: RIOT does not address this problem at all. No updates yet. SAD
same here, I get stuck in normal draft picks' champion select... get this under normal games, I can only find draft picks... really Rito?
Had the same problem. On 2 profiles. I dodged and logged back in and now i'm stuck on the reconnect screen. Nothing happens when I hit reconnect.. i wanna try the new champion level stuff :( 
Please be patient, Riot is currently investigating the cause of this problem, I believe it is a connectivity issue concerning their server. For now, all we can do is wait for a fix and/or an announcement telling us what the problem is and how we, ourselves fix it, or if they have a fix. Thank you.
I can totally be patient if Riot announce their maintenance schedule/timeline; but as of this moment, Riot is still not telling us anything; I wouldn't mind to wait for a 24 hours maintenance if that is what it takes...but not telling us anything with no maintenance timeline is bullshit(in my opinions)
