[CRASH] Game Fails to Connect After Champion Select

Now I have a pretty good computer and It's never failed me in terms of League of Legends ever before, but recently in one of the newer updates I seem to be unable to connect to the actual game after champion select at seemingly 50/50 odds of it working and failing. Sometimes by trying random things I get it to connect after 2-5 mins into the game and had enough after, and in this order, closing and reopening the game, logging out and back in, setting the processes priority to high for the game (not the client but the actual game), RESTARTING MY COMPUTER, spamming alt-tab then one lucky attempt, it worked after 25 ish minutes in. I don't believe I got a Leaverbuster conviction but I certainly don't want one just because the game is acting funny.

Now I also want to mention that I have done the full repair of my client and I still experienced this issue, and I've seen a few things scattered around the web of other people experiencing the same issue including my friends, but no solution. There is also never any bug splat error or any other form of information collecting window that gives me some sort of problem description so unfortunately I cannot provide anything in that field without help either. I've decided I'm probably not playing any more games until this is fixed or I'm assured I won't get Leaver-busted for it so assistance would be dramatically appreciated. :)
