Draft pick not working...at all.

Every single time I try to do the new draft pick, the timer will count down to zero during bans and just sit there. Then I get kicked for not picking my champion and face a queue penalty. Why should I get punished for something that I didn't even do? I can't play against players, because the game freezes every time I try to. It's been doing this for three days now. I'm starting to get a little annoyed at the fact that I can't even play the game anymore.
