Spectator mode VERY broken. Bonus bugs as well.

I had to reinstall the game due to an unfortunate hard drive failure. I am now running it on a new SSD with a fresh windows 8 64 bit OS.

Since the reinstall I have not been able to spectate a game. When I click "spectate game" the screen instantly goes black with the blue "loading circle" moving. I cannot alt tab. I can ctrl+alt+del to bring up the menu; however, after selecting task manager I am not given a task manager or returned to my desktop, instead I am still on that black screen. I cannot interact with any background programs by alt tabbing; however, I can hear them running in the background. E.g. I can hear the LCS streaming in the background even though my screen is completely black and I cannot return to the desktop. Eventually I get a message that says "Unable to download spectator data. The game will now exit." Half the time it exits, returning to client home and I regain control over my desktop. The other half, after returning me to the client home and "reconnect to game" screen, it tries to reload the game itself. Sometimes this works, but when the games loads its frozen instantly. The other times it loads on the character screen for a bit, then freezes again, eventually given enough time I will get the "Unable to download spectator data. The game will now exit." again and I am returned to the main client screen. I'm thinking this cannot be an issue related to my network, as the network remains unchanged from before the new harddrive/OS/LoL client install...before I was able to spectate all games without issue.

Other bugs I'm experiencing:

90% of the time when I log in I'm disconnected from chat. After attempting to reconnect several times it will usually work. 90% of the time while logged into the client, I will randomly get disconnected from chat. After attempting to reconnect several times it will usually work. I was having a really weird issue where the shortcut I was running the game from stopped working, so I switched to the "administrator shortcut" to run the game. Eventually that one stopped working so I had to switch back to the normal shortcut. Seems to be working for now.

I really want to be able to spectate games again. Thank you for your time.
