I had ranked solo queue selected and it placed me into a normal game.
This happened to me a month or two ago (I posted a thread with the same name) but I do not know how to repeat it. As described in my previous post, I clicked "play" instead of "play again" to make sure I was in Ranked queue (image attached showing client screen when I queued) and it still placed me in a normal. Restarting the client resolved the issue.
As mentioned, this is the second time in a month or two that this has happened.
