Odyssey; Extraction (Captain Difficulty)

Is it only me or does it take forever to load in for everyone? My bf has loaded in during the last section of the game mode (vs Kayn) and I've loaded in during the second lvl completed, is it a bug Riot knows about? It's a pisstake as a mission is to win on Captain or above difficulty and I can't win on higher UNTIL I've won on Captain and if I can't load in, I'll never complete them as fuck giving my log in details to others XD
