<GAMEPLAY> In-Game Chat Not Updating

First of all, I play on a mac—if this information is important that is.

Recently (after the 9.15 update), there appears to be a problem with the in-game chat.

Everything works fine until a few minutes into the game, then at a certain point, you cannot see any new chats sent by anyone, including pings and spell cd indications. You still get the sound effect for messages and you can still type a message in, but you cannot see it.

It appears, however, that you can see those missing messages by manually scrolling down the in-game chat or pressing z.

As for solving the problem, I have both reset the client and reinstalled the game. Problem persists.

Hopefully this is a simple issue to fix. P.S. I play on the Korean server, and this is my NA account (the bug appeared on my Korean account)
