[CRASH] In-Game Freezing is locking up my computer! Help!

Hey there! I have been getting back into league, and have noticed a bug that is persistent. Every once in a while, near the start to middle of a match, my computer will make a Windows Alert sound. When it does this, my entire game freezes up. I cannot tab out, I cannot click anything. Any voice chat I'm using also locks up. I have to either CTRL + ALT + DEL for a sign out or completely shut down my PC and start a restart!

Is there a fix for this? I have seen one where it tells me to access my: C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\releases\ but... going to the version, and clicking Deploy gives me empty folders. How do I fix this? It is frustrating as a Veteran player returning after almost a year hiatus to not be able to actually play. ;-;
