anybody else have this problem? that when you start up your LoL client you crash the moment the game starts and you're put on the field? it happened twice now i'm trying a complete clean install but i'm wondering if i'm the only 1 with that issue or if there are more people?
Actually I have a friend who plays LOL on both a laptop and a desktop computer, both top of the line, and they BOTH crash during the moments where it is supposed to be showing the champions appearing on the field. This also occurs on every map.
FIXED: I did several things without really testing if they work until the end, so just try them in this order. Test in a custom game to avoid afking. 1. Play without a browser (firefox, IE) open. 2. Install or repair Microsoft Framework 3.5 3. Log in using a different LOL account and load a game, the error may be caused by a profile glitch (had this crash issue on multiple computers) and loading a working profile appears to solve the issue. You may then play using your original account. Note that this only fixed the "crashing on field start", not crashing while actually loading. It may work to do that as well, but I can't test that.
ACTUALLY FIXED: My bad, turns out with this issue you can still make a custom game with only your champion in it. Turn off your antivirus, fixes it, no problem.
