Game Acts Like I'm Pressing The Control Key When I'm Not

Hi. You guys know that when you press the control key, you can show the amount of gold you have or the cd of your spells to your teammates? There have been instances in my games where I haven't been pressing the control key, and the game has been performing this function by itself. Like I was trying to buy lucidity boots, and instead of buying the boots (I tend to double click on the item), a message in the chat kept appearing that I was able to buy the boots. Also, there have been times when I would left click to check something, and my clicks would turn into pings despite me not pressing on my keyboard.
