Bug regarding Clones

I played as Shaco for the first time and realised that if your red or blue buff wears off while the clone is up, the red or blue circle will remain on your clone. but not on you. Not really sure if this is intentional or not. But seems like a bit of a bug to me.

I did use Q seemingly the exact same time the buff ran off. Not sure if this could be a direct cause or not. Like I said, I never play shaco.. I have a video of this occurrence if it would be helpful.
