not even sure why i even bother using my W anymore its so damn gutted and useless.

also while im here, theres this weird interaction on akalis shroud that im not sure if its intended or a bug, but i have auto attack turned off and if im playing akali and i use my shroud to try to hide, if an enemy champion stands too close to me my champion will automatically auto attack them revealing my position and gets me killed a lot, mind you i have auto attack OFF so idk why my shroud makes me auto when an enemy is too close. that shouldnt happen.

Fiora Q does that to everything that is in range She can even hit a Kha in stealth even if she has no vision Not only Fiora Q Katarina Ult works the same way It can activate when someone's in range even if she has no vision which is why she is a big counter to Akali

this has literally always been the case even before she got reworked how are you not aware of this mechanic while you are nearly 350 lvls into your account

Then you right clicked him. Stop it and you won't auto attack.

Akali's W only grants Invisibility, it does not grant any forms of CC or spell immunity or similar for that matter.

Like ANY OTHER INVISIBLE UNITS, Akali in her shroud can not be targeted by lock-on attacks such as lock-on enemy spells or auto-attack. And that is the case only because those targeting methods require a confirmed selection of a VISIBLE enemy unit.

Otherwise, Akali (along with any champ that can go Invisible) is hit just fine by any other attacks if they could manage to hit her while she's invisible in her shroud. There is nothing wrong with what you saw.

Remember, Invisibility is NOT Untargetability or other buffs that let's you ignore/block/etc enemy attacks. It only makes you invisible. And just because being invisible invalidates lock-on attacks, it doesn't mean you suddenly have attack immunity as a whole.

.........

EDIT: As another has mentioned, that is also the case with old Akali, as it does with ALL champs that have Invisibility given that's just how the thing has always worked.

If you were aaing and used W without canceling aa it, it will keep on aaing, also moving in you shroud and clicking near enemies may be dangerous, that's why I prefer clicking far away from shroud and using stop command stop when I need to, that way I won't aa any enemy standing in.
