Missions of Kayn came way too late for me?! Why now? why not when kayn went out?

I m dealing with an issue right now. I just received the Kayn mission. I though that mission was when kayn went out but it just didn't show up. But now it showed up and I have only 5days left of the mission to be able to get his icons... Getting them its like impossible now that kayn became less popular.... Can somebody tell me whats going on? or is it just my account and I got very very unlucky?

Edit: (I also have played against them when he was popular so many times...but now... I have 0 chance of seeing 5 kayn in 5 days... unless I play every hour and get lucky to have someone play him.)
