League Client Crashing

How can I rank up in League if my client crashes every other game. When i first built my gaming pc League of Legends ran fine until a couple patchs down the road when suddenly my display drivers would crash and my client would flash black for two seconds and come back on, this was exclusive to League as played many other games without the problem occurring. Now when the client goes black I get no message about drivers crashing and on some occasions my computer freezes and im forced to restart my entire computer mid game. Just recently my monitor once again went black and then opened to my desktop where the client was unresponsive and my cursor was the client cursor, i was again forced to restart as the client was unresponsive. Im running dual monitors with up to date GPU drivers. Any help would be appreciated Will provide computer specs is necessary.
