Quinn/Zed Bug?

So I was playing Quinn
the other day and when I went to E Zed
, he at the exact moment decided to Shadow Dash and it showed me falling off the shadow then all of a sudden I was moved to where he himself was at. Is this a bug? Or meant to be there?
