[CRASH] Patch 5.14 mac problems?

Hey everyone, After patch 5.14 lots of players with a mac complain about the new patch.

The reasions:

When you open the ingame shop there are red squares(WTF?)
After 5-10 minutes the game crashes(screen freezes,you can hear the music and move your mouse)
After the game crashes you have to close league of legends
after you reconnected the game crashes a second time
the ally players will report you and you will get punished.
You have to wait 5 or 10 min until you can play and it doesn‘t make fun to play league anymore

These fails are on every map in League of Legends

P.S. I hope all apple users don‘t have to wait until patch 5.15 when they want to play league

UPDATE: I can play lol again but some users have the problems again...

I will also add to this. I am running Mac OS 10.9.5 (The OS needed to run it) and the spec's on my computer are alright to run league without any issue. I'm getting red boxes in the store as well and crashes that are completely random. It can be 3 of them in a 10 minute strain or it wont crash until 20 minutes in. I think it may have something to do with when i am team fighting or starting a skirmish with an opponent. I also dc'd at spawn a few times. Trying to add as much useful info as possible so riot knows where to start looking. Thank you and hope this gets fixed.

I have exact same problems...red squares on shop...crash after crash... in a 30 mins game i had like 5 crashes...its unplayable on mac for the moment. and not only on the new map..but on SR also...PLZ riot hotfix this!

I will play everyday 2 games and look for this bugs. I will tell you when riot fixed it.

Got the same Problem, unplayable and on top of that you eventually get punished by your teammates :(

I want to play Bilgewater stuffs so bad, please don't make us mac users wait until the next patch ;~; I play LoL primarily because it is a game that runs on MAC and it's fun. Do not take this away from me D:

This exact problem is happening to me as well. All my friends that use a Dell/Windows computer for league are not affected by this problem at all. I think that this problem is only mac-related. Please reply if anyone knows how to fix this problem, otherwise, we might just have to wait for Riot to sort out this problem.

I have a mac too, but I have a different problem. My match history in the client and on the web is wrong, some games I played are not shown, and after I finished a game, it is often still not on the history for 30 minutes. Patch 5.14 is end of league summoner 14

Same here but i crashed 3 times in each game i play in my first game 1 at 5 mins then another at 15 min and the finalone at 23 mins FIX THIS RIOT

The red screen is the only the smallest issue, the biggest issue is the constant crashes and the freezes.

I play on a mac but I'm not having these problems. It could be a bug in the update with older OS'

Yep exact same thing happened to me, Riot Games needs to fix this, I just want to play League of Legends and this new bullcrap update is preventing me. I better not have to wait weeks to play. Fix this NOW!!!!

So my friend also uses a mac but his mac is 1 or 2 years old. He is not having these problems. I on the other hand am using a 2009 macbook pro and i get the red squares and crashes every game.

I deleted the game after so many attempts to reconnect or even start the game. I don't know if riot even cares about the new patch and its problem (if they are gonna fast pace the next patch to fix it) ... My story is simple, after spending over $1300 on the game... I deleted it. I still want to play it but I can't play it at home, I gotta pay to pay now :P If riot doesn't care and ignore the problem and take their time.. I'm just gonna stop playing. Not worth it. I hope they do well in their business.. Late

seriously though... this needs to get fixed.. riot pls fix. and worst part is, its not only mac users but the majority of the bug splats and crashes are on mac

I'm also having the same problem on my Mac... I was planning on having a LoL day with the guys and I can't enjoy it at all. I tried restarting my computer twice and then I repaired my client which took nearly an hour and still nothing. Absolute nightmare.

I'm getting the same awful red squares in the shop. The game seems to crash for me every time I exit out of the shop after buying items.

Don't know if thats happening to anyone else.

Yeah, exact same problem. My computer doesn't even wait five minutes, it crashes within 3 minutes consistently. It seems to be occurring more when more stuff is going on in the screen. I seem to recall there being a similar issue nearly a year ago, and it was associated with some graphics processing issue, so the more stuff that goes on, the more likely the game is to crash. Idk, I experienced about 6 crashes before I gave up playing, and that was the trend with all 6 crashes. I do have the red shop stuff as well.

This is the worst patch I've experienced. 3 games 7 crashes. If the games went on any longer I would certainly crash more. Can't play league right now. And the changes are awful.

The way riot is LeeSin and can't help us mac users. Really annoying that i keep crashing in fights and getting reported after each game. PLEASE RIOT FIX I WANT TO PLAY THE NEW MAP REALLY BAD AND TRY THE NEW UPDATES.

Having the same issues, also had champion icons covering the entire screen and crashes basically whenever I tried to do anything. Tried deleting and fixing client.

Same problems here. Red squares around enemies, blue around allies, and red in the store. Quite frustrating but I'm hoping Rito will fix it soon.
