AT&T ISP - High Ping [About 2-3 Hours Ago]

I had a random ping increase of about 80ms starting around 2 hours ago. This seems to be an issue with only AT&T ISPs, my friends with AT&T (all East Coast) have ran into the same issues. It's very similar to what happened in Clash. Just wanted to acknowledge this ping increase to hopefully get it fixed faster

Edit 1: For people wondering, the last time this issue occurred it was an issue with server routing (Riot's side)

Also confirming I'm ATT and have steady 140 ping now

Yep, can confirm. Based in Chicago with AT&T fiber gigabit and was stuck at 104ms throughout my whole game, tested with other applications and it's solely happening with riot servers.

AT&T 139 ping constant, every other game is showing perfect ping. SMH my head.

I can confirm this issue, I live in the Midwest with Fiber usually getting 10ms now getting 100ms+ and I have AT&T. This was an issue a month or so ago where my ping jumped up to 70ms out of no where for a day or two.

ATT, usually 34 ms now 120. Tried other games as well. Not a problem with other games

I'm so glad it's not just me, I as well have AT&T and my ping went from a solid 60-70 to 150-155. It's awful, every game but League is working as usual.

Att gigabit fiber here. normally 13 ping stuck at 110ms all day today. but hey at least we get more prestige skins :)

Same problem, 120-130 ping with at&t fiber optic. east coast. tested my ping its 33. but league ONLY its this high.

Can confirm. Ping is usually at 30, now it's peaking at about 120.

I have ATT usually 54-59 ping. Since today I get 114-119 ping.

That's most likely an issue with AT&T as a service, not Riot.

If the issue persists for more than like 3-5+ hours, contact AT&T and see what's up. If they're reporting that everything is fine on their end, that's when you should report a bug here or file a ticket.

I usually have 21-30 ms now its a constant 104 ms that never changes.

Recently moved and I've been at 30 all week. Was at 105 all day today lol, tragic cause I just upgraded to 1 gig and got a ping increase after moving a couple cities over :(

Server routing on Charter Spectrum ~1 month ago increased ping by 15. Washington here.

The support twitter has informed people that this is a known problem and that they are working on it.

AT&T fiber, normal ping is 50 and today 155. At the beginning of the load I will have normal ping. Then, after 50% load the ping goes up. It takes about 15 seconds in game for the ping to get to 155 and then stay there.
