[Gameplay] Cass Ult and Yi's Q

Was just playing a game as Cass when I noticed some weirdness with her ult and Master Yi's Q. I would ult him before/as he was casting his Q, however it (his Q) would still end up casting and damaging me, and he'd end up a stone statue at my side but only for about 1 sec before returning to normal (as if the game considered the time during his Q to count as being turned to stone despite him being untargetable). I strongly believe that being able to catch him out before he goes untargetable should be rewarded with the ability to wail on him instead of giving him a get out of jail free card, especially considering that hard CC and burst damage are his supposed counters.

Yeah, there is all sorts of weird interactions riot needs to look at. Like ezreal's E allowing him to still teleport when he's hit with CC because he started casting it before or right as it hit. One of the worst i've seen is when a blitz hits him with his pull, and ezreal teleports and blitz fist goes with him(the long arm chain thing and all) but he isn't pulled. I get how it works, but I still think it's really funky with how certain dashes/teleports work with some spells.

Not even just those though, there's a few i've noticed that are in no way intended. Speaking of Cass, i've actually been turned to stone by her ult when I was facing away from her MULTIPLE times over different games. My whole team and even the enemy team brought it up most of the times it happened, so it wasn't like I saw my character facing away when I tried to bait it but I actually wasn't due to lag or something. When all 10 players see me clearly facing away from her, but it still turns me to stone, there's a problem lol. Also it wasn't like I was at an angle and it just barely caught my vision, it happens when my character couldn't possibly even see cass out of their peripheral vision.

Some of the funky interactions in league can be neat sometimes, but there are definitely some "game breaking" ones that can wind up giving up a kill or losing one that riot needs to look at SOMETIME at least. Some have been in the game since season 1 and haven't been fixed but definitely don't seem intended by tooltips and such.

It's cause Yi's Q has a very small cast time, he doesn't Q instantaneously. It's like ezreal's E vs blitz pull, if you time your e correctly, due to the cast time, while mid pull, you jump out of it

It's not a bug, it works the same with things like Morg Q and Lux Q, where if it hits Yi while he is casting Q, he will come out of the alpha with the cc still on him.

Ah I see. Well Riot should look into these weird interactions and come up with a standard predictable outcome, right? For example, I can understand Cass ult not stopping Malph or Sion ult since they are specifically unstopable, however if I'm going to invest into using my most potent ability with my longest CD and time it perfectly catching the Yi as he's casting but before he goes untargetable, I should be rewarded for that, as opposed to having his 7 sec CD ability give him a get out of jail free (similarly, Morg and Lux q's if time correctly should stop him). I understand that Riot is trying to standardize CC to not stop dashes (as in the Ahri charm changes this patch), however I feel that the ability to read someone and stop them during their animation but before they start to move should be rewarded.

Something along the lines of "If [cc] connects with [champion x] within [time y] of casting [ability z], then [cc] applied and cost/cd refunded for [ability z]". Where [time y] is the accepted casting delay (ie: 0.25sec) and [ability z] is any jump/dash.

Cuz IRL, if I were to turn someone to stone as the were about to mug me, I don't think they'd be doing much mugging XD
