[GAMEPLAY] Banshee's Veil Blocking 2 Spells

I was just playing a game as Fiddlesticks, and I was not doing too well. Anyways, the enemy Lee Sin bought a Banshee's Veil.

When Lee went to ward hop then attack my face, I hit him with my silence and fear, and he didn't take either disability.

I am wondering if both spells could have hit at the same time to just count as "a single spell" and if this is intentional or not.
