Urf Wards no longer Work

I bought urf wards right when they came out. However, with preseason, they no longer make the cute urf sounds when I place them (after lvl 9 when my trinket should be upgraded), or the sad urf sounds when they die. Is this something Riot intends to keep? Please don't do this. I really enjoyed my wards, and it's fun to do my best imitation over a skype or curse call with my friends. Please at least give me some feedback on the situation. (uuRrRrrrrff).
