Death timer not showing correctly

Normally after an enemy is killed, the scoreboard shows the timer until they respawn, but on some occassions (not sure how to reproduce) instead of showing a timer, a question mark appears which can cause some confusion. This seems to be a local issue, as a team mate in the same match claimed they could see the death timer when I could not.
