[GAMEPLAY] Nidalee's abilities sometimes goes through champions

Havent play Nid in a long time but since shes my highest mastery and i like her, i decided i would play her top in a normal like the good old days. Long story short, my spear went through a Thresh as he was shielding himself with lantern and later on, I flashed Q (cougar) a low hp Darius while he was also being shielded by a Thresh lantern and it also did nothing. Both abilities went on cooldown and it was really weird. Everyone else in the game seemed to ignore it and i thought it was the over nerfed spear width but theres no way an auto with an execute can deal no dmg especially when the opponent is low health. If this helps, I was using Leopard Nidalee, the Thresh had Bloodmoon Thresh and the Darius was using Academy Darius.
