[CRASH] Having connection issues after champ select, anyone else having this bug?

So I've been experiencing this bug for a couple weeks or so. Sometimes right after champion select, the client disappears as it usually does and that little League of Legends logo pops up on the screen. But then nothing will happen so I have to try closing it with task manager and refreshing league hoping I can get back in time before the game starts. Other times the loading screen will just be a black screen and not do anything whatsoever.

I have the Hextech Repair Tool installed, I tried reinstalling the entire game and it keeps happening. This doesn't really happen on my first game of the day but it seems more prominent with each successive game. I've made it a rule that if I can't connect the first 2 times that I give up trying to connect so I don't screw over my teammates and they can just remake and not waste 40 mins. The only problem with that is that I end up in leaver buster queue times and it's really annoying for being in that queue when I had to dodge for non-malicious reasons.

All of this started when the patch with Kai'Sa came out, it's been really annoying and league seems to have slower loading times and slower loading times for the end game results menu.

Is anyone experiencing this bug? Is this a common bug that Riot is trying to fix or is aware of? Before all this, League would run perfectly for me. I don't know man...
