Seriously, how long is IP amount going to be bugged before it's fixed?
Oh look, I have 6400 IP (after playing 150 games), I can finally buy a cool champion!

There was a bug a few months back that desynced a bunch of peoples' ip amounts. Logging into the old client and trying to buy your item there is the fix for the bug; it forces a resync with the server-side amount (which is either larger or smaller than your current amount). After that you can go back to the new client.
