[CLIENT] CPU usage goes from 4-8% to> 45-50% on LeagueClientUxHelper.exe During Champ Select (7.3)

After updating to Patch 7.3, I have been noticing that after champ select starts my CPU pegs at 40-50% range until I personally select a champion. I noticed this in both unranked draft as well as ranked draft queues.

I am running Windows 10 on an i7-4790 with Geforce GTX 970, 16GB DDR3 ram.

Thanks!

Another edit, just to clarify this is on the new client.

Got the same problem on W10 Pro 64 Bit, Intel i5-4670K (OC) & Nvidia GTX 780 (OC). It was fine till 7.3 :/

Any updates to this problem? I already failed some ranked champ selections because of that and doing masteries is extremely annoying with those lag spikes...
